Ameer’s Teamwork production house launched the audio of their Yogi directed by Subramaniyashiva on Sunday morning(Sep 13) at Sathyam Cinemas. A very slick trailer of the film with English voice over was showcased along with a mass kuthu song mixed with Bharathanatiyam Chennai Koovathilae... choreographed by Dinesh and picturised on Ameer and his gang was screened.

Earlier ‘Yogi’ was sure to be bought by Kalaignar TV, though the channel did not buy the movie, it was almost confirmed that ‘Yogi’ was for the channel. The audio launch of the movie was also telecasted live on it. But out of the blue, things turned topsy-turvy.

We don’t have a clue as to how the film slipped into the hands of Sun TV. Everyone in the industry is actually surprised about this sudden twist in the track.

But according to our sources, it’s learnt that the film went on to the hands of Sun TV as one of the close friends of Ameer advised him to do so. The friend advised Ameer by saying that “Yogi is a good film and you have a first-class opening as a hero also. So, don’t throw away this good chance.
