Karunas jumps on to the bandwagon

A comedy actor donning the role of a hero is not new to Tamil Cinema. We have seen Nagesh, Goundamani, Vivek, Vadivelu do it and now we will see Karunas do it. Yes! Actor Karunas is going to act as a hero in a movie, which has been named Dindigul Sarathi.

But Karunas waited long for his turn. Though he was given plenty of chances to feature as protagonist in a movie, Karunas decided to play it safe until he got a good script. He waited, astutely avoiding scripts that will project him as a caricature or make a trite film, until he found the script for Dindugal Sarathi.

Director G.V. Kumar, who directed Puli Varudhu, will direct this film. Karthika, the fame of Namnadu, will be the heroine of this movie. The music of this film will be composed by Dhina. The shooting of this film will take place in Dindigul and other villages of Southern India.
